One of her eyes was severely injured and bulging and, unfortunately, could not be saved. Crystal is now completely blind.<br/><br/>Her past is heartbreaking, but what is remarkable about Crystal is the dog she is today. Despite everything that was done to her, she remains loving, affectionate, trusting, and incredibly resilient. Any canine companion would require the right temperament, proper introductions, and careful management. Once they learn the layout of their home and establish a routine, they adapt remarkably well using their hearing, sense of smell, memory, and trust in their people.<br/><br/>Crystal may not be able to see her person, but she will absolutely know who they are.<br/><br/>Foster-to-Adopt or Adoption<br/><br/>We are looking for either a foster-to-adopt or permanent adoptive home for Crystal.<br/><br/>She has already endured more than enough uncertainty in her young life. What she needs now is someone willing to give her patience, stability, guidance, and most importantly, a home where she will always be safe.<br/><br/>Crystal truly is one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet.
