Crumble's Story

Meet Crumble! Crumble arrived with us after being found as a stray puppy in rural WA. He was a little ball of soft fluff and we all fell in love with him. Crumble has grown up a bit since then and is now 8 months old and 46 lbs. He still has some growing to do as he is a large breed pup. We think he may top out around 55-60 lbs. Crumble is a good boy and does well with other dogs. He would love an active lifestyle and being taken on adventures. In the home, he is trained well and is crate trained and leash trained. He is also fully house-broken. Crumble is currently in a board and train program because he did have some issues that needed to be addressed. He is a guardian breed mix and this requires an appropriate outlet for his guarding tendencies. At times, he can be protective of his belongings (toys or other highly prized items) and his home (with visitors). This is a natural behavior for him but requires fine-tuning and training. His trainers have worked with him for some time and he is doing well. He needs an experienced owner, familiar with large breed guardian dogs and their specific traits. He is not suitable for a home with cats or kids but gets along well with other dogs. Crumble is vaccinated and chipped. He is scheduled to be neutered. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Saving Great Animals WA's Adoption Policy

If you are interested in adopting one of our available dogs, you can visit our website savinggreatanimals.org and submit an application. We will then connect you with the dog's foster family for a meet and greet. Saving Great Animals offers a two week trial adoptions for all dogs, to make sure they are indeed a good match for you. During the trial adoption we are here to support you with advice and training. Saving Great Animals is a match-making service and not a shelter. We do not have a public facility for you to visit as all of our animals are placed in foster homes. This is a better environment for the animal and also allows us to learn more about their behaviors before they are adopted. If you are interested in meeting an adoptable pet, please submit an application for that animal via our website and we will then connect you with the foster family for a meet and greet.
