He has been working on loose-leash walking and has come a long way in a short time. He does have a prey drive and will focus in on squirrels, bunnies and other dogs while out for walks. He may or may not try to go after the squirrels and bunnies, but almost always wants to go meet other dogs. He is still learning how to interact with other animals and would likely be best suited to a home where he can be the only pet.<br/>Crosby loves to cuddle and be close to his humans. <br/>He is House-trained, good with kids, No cats, Use caution when introducing other dogs as he is reactive to some, but not all. <br/><br/>The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**<br/>***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption. We are not currently doing adoptions across the boarder.***
