Crissy's Story

This sweet little girl was rescued from the shelter two days before she was to be euthanized due to overcrowding. She sat for 3 long weeks waiting for someone to come for her. When no one came, the rescue community stepped up and what a wonderful rescue it was! She is not only gorgeous, but Miss Crissy could not be any sweeter. Without a mean bone in her body, she has the softest, silky fur and a tender heart and weighs in at a mere 9.5 pounds. This petite furbaby is pretty darn near perfect!

Potty-trained, low maintenance, great in the car and wonderful with both male and female humans, Crissy also gets along swimmingly with both small and large dogs, alike. She has wonderful confidence and is very even tempered. Secure in who she is, Crissy would make a wonderful therapy dog - great to bring to nursing homes or children's hospitals - she is happy to be held by anyone and loves, loves, loves to have her belly rubbed.

Crissy loves to eat and will even dance when it's time for meals or treats. She gets the zoomies still and will try to play with the other senior dogs in her foster home. The only issue that we are working on is that she has a little bit of separation anxiety, which is normal in dogs who have been abandoned. She is not destructive at all, but will whine or bark a little when she is left alone,

During the day, Crissy sleeps much of the time and really couldn't be an easier dog. She loves to cuddle and press her head in the crook of your neck for snuggles. She sleeps soundly through the night in her foster mom's bed.

Crissy received a clean bill of health and was aged by our vet at about 9 years old, had a full dental where four teeth were removed, and is spayed. She is up to date on her vaccines and all she needs now to complete her happy ending is a loving furever family! Is she the one you've been searching for?
