Crisco

Crisco is a very special boy. He is a Standard Poodle around 4 years old. <br/><br/>We got a call one night that Crisco was at a vets office and the owner was going to put him to sleep. Now..... this dog was once a serious Show Dog and within 2 years his health declined rapidly. <br/><br/>Of course we scooped him up and brought him to our vet. He was diagnosed with Pancreatitis, a thyroid condition and he was very underweight. As soon as his Pancreatitis is completely cleared we will test him for Addison's disease. Crisco's skin was awful when we got him but now that he is on thyroid medication it is starting to look better. His owner said he was having about 2 seizures a month but we haven't seen one yet. We have a camera on him in his kennel at the vets office 24/7. <br/><br/>Crisco is ready for a foster home if not his forever home. He is absolutely adorable, super friendly and loving and good with other dogs. He is great in a car, on a leash and is house trained.
