Crinkle's Story
Crinkle, along with her brother, Ripple, joined Mattie's Place January 12th after being abandoned in a home when the owners moved out with the adult dogs, leaving the pups. OPP were able to attend and remove the puppies and out of a large litter of puppies, Mattie's Place welcomed 2.

We were able to track down the owners social media account and found photos of the parents - American Bulldog mix and Yellow Lab mix.

Crinkle is such a sweet puppy. At her 1st vet appointment, January 12th, she weighed in at 3.1 KG - 7 pounds. I'm uncertain how big of a dog she will grow into as an adult but presumably in the 60 - 70 pound range.

She has a DOB: Dec 1/2025

Crinkle will receive her booster vaccine and more dewormer before adoption and her final vaccine booster | dewormer will be completed at the rescue veterinarian in Unionville in March.

Her non negotiable spay will take place again, at the Mattie's Place veterinarian, at the cost of Mattie's Place in July 2026. The date will form part of the adoption contract and again, is a non-negotiable spay date.

Crinkle will fit into most lifestyles as she's still just a baby. A home with an adopter mostly home is needed as she navigates these informative months of her life. An adopter willing to work with a professional trainer to ensure Crinkle grows up to be the best girl is super important. Having another well mannered dog in the home to serve as a mentor would be a bonus.

Crinkle will make an amazing companion. But important to understand all the work that needs to go into a puppy the 1st year of life, so you have an exceptional adult dog for many years to come.

FROM THE FOSTER:

Crinkle is as sweet as can be, but don't let that fool you ā she's got a spunky side too!

Sheās a tough cookie and knows how to stand up for herself.

She'd be thrilled with a chill cuddle session or a burst of energy with some late-night zoomies.

Since she's still young, she needs some training, but I think she'll be a fast learner!

------------------------------------

$875 ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: spay/neuter, deworming, flea/tick prevention, vaccinations, dentals if needed or any added surgical needed surgical care, food, nose to tail health exam, toys, leash|collar, winter coat (seasonal), poop bags, dishes and 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance with immediate coverage on adoption day for any illness or injury not pre-existing.

----------------------------------------

To note: the above description is relevant to this dog in it's current & previous setting.
