I weigh 18 pounds. I am looking for a new home because my owner was not able to keep me. I am a brindle and white Boston Terrier/Rat Terrier mix, and I am the best of both breeds! I am being fostered in Kansas City, MO.<br/><br/>Don't let my age fool you .... I have lots of energy, love long walks and backyard adventures. When I am in the house, I follow my people around, who I love, but I am a little lazy and sleep alot! I also love to eat, and will eat anything you give me.<br/><br/>I listen well, and know several commands - sit, stay, go to bed, come (inside and outside), outside, no, and stop. I do all the commands quickly because I love to please! Evidence of this is my long tail that is a "C" curled over my back, which never stops wagging! <br/><br/>When I was young, I was attacked by a large dog and lost my right eye. As a result, I am afraid of new dogs and would probably do best in a home as an only dog. If a dog is introduced slowly, I make a new friend. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced.
