Meet Cricket!<br/><br/>Cricket is a one-year-old Chihuahua/German Shepherd mix with the heart of a survivor and the gentlest soul you'll ever meet. She was found as a stray with her puppies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. When they were taken to a high kill shelter, all of her babies were adopted — and Cricket was left behind, scared and alone.<br/><br/>Peps Pals stepped in just in time, rescuing her and giving her the chance she deserved. Now, in her loving foster home, Cricket is blossoming more every day.<br/><br/>Cricket is a petite girl at only 18 lbs., and she's the perfect mix of cuddly and playful. She stays close to her humans, happily following them from room to room just to be near. She loves other dogs, enjoys playing fetch, and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to help her continue building confidence.<br/><br/>She's also wonderfully well-mannered:<br/><br/>Kennel trained<br/><br/>Potty trained<br/><br/>Sleeps through the night<br/><br/>Still learning the leash, but making steady progress<br/><br/>Cricket is a tender, loyal little dog who just wants to feel safe, loved, and part of a family.
