Cricket's Story

FOREVER HOME NEEDED (she is currently in foster care):

Meet Cricket! She is an extremely shy, sweet 1-year-old, 10-lb Yorkie Terrier mix who is looking for a quiet, patient home.

Cricket needs an adopter who understands that trust takes time. She will do best with someone who can give her the space, patience, and consistency she needs to feel safe and comfortable in a new environment.

Because of her shy nature, Cricket would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with no children. She will need a standalone home outside of the city with a securely fenced yard, as she can be a flight risk and needs a safe space to explore at her own pace.

Cricket does well with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with several canine companions. She would thrive in a home with another canine companion to help build her confidence and show her the ropes. While she is not cuddly, she is quiet, gentle, and well-behaved, making her a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a more independent, sensitive soul.

She is working on potty training in her foster home and is pad trained. Cricket will also require regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable.

If youre a patient, kind person looking to give a shy dog the safe, peaceful home she deserves, Cricket may be the perfect match for you.

Cricket is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $500.
