Meet Cricket
Cricket is around a year old and came from a hoarding situation in Tennessee with over 60 dogs so he hasn't had a lot of socialization before coming to COFAS.
Cricket started off being super nervous with everyone but quickly warmed up to his foster mom, as well as his foster dog and cat siblings. He thrives having 4 legged friends in his home and will not be available to go to a single pet home. (he'd love to be adopted with his favorite kitty foster sibling, Rukia!)
He loves snacks! Cricket will always take a treat and gets extra excited and bouncy when it's meal time - being so food motivated will help with bringing him out of his shell and with training. He is doing very well with his potty training (but everyone makes mistakes sometimes) and doesn't mind hanging out in his crate during the day with some toys to chew on. He's a young guy and loves playing with and chewing on toys. Sometimes he thinks a shoe is a toy but is easily redirected.
He loves to snuggle up to his foster mom and play with her but he is still nervous with new people so a home with young children may not be best for him.
Cricket is looking for a home with someone that is patient with him as he is learning that humans are friends. He is a sweetie and deserves the best!
