Crackers's Story

Hi! My name is Crackers and I’m so excited to meet you! I’m an approximately 10-month-old Chihuahua mix.

I am fun to be with, and also smart! I am crate trained, house trained, pee pad trained, which is a great start! I love to play and get along great with other dogs. Playtime is my favorite time. I love toys, especially chew toys! I have heard that I’m a master cuddler and make a great companion. I have been having a great time in my foster home and really can’t wait to find my forever family. I like all people, and love to be close to my foster mom. She says I’m pretty awesome and that I will make someone so happy.

I would be fine with kids if they are a bit older (8+ just because I’m small) or dog savvy. I hear kids like to play so maybe they would play with me? I am not that great with cats, so hopefully a home with no cats is in my future. I chase them and see them as a toy. It’s quite funny because most cats are bigger than me because I’m just under 7lbs. What am I thinking!

If you want to learn more about and see if I could be your new best friend to complete an adoption application. I cannot wait to meet you!!

If you feel Crackers could be a great match for you, please complete an adoption application on our website www.hullshaven.org. Adoption fee is $500 and this includes their core vaccines (DA2PPV, Rabies) deworming, health checks, and spay/neuter, as well as any additional vet care required. All finalized adoptions come with a free 6-week trial of pet insurance with Pet Secure.

Hull's Haven Border Collie Rescue's Adoption Policy
For Border Collies, HHBCR has strict guidelines for adopting this breed. Border Collies are extremely high energy, high intelligence dogs. They are known as "The Einsteins of the Dog World". That being said, they are also a breed that has many bizarre and peculiar behaviours. They can be obsessive compulsive, very focused and many have the deep rooted need to herd. They will herd cats, other dogs and children. This can cause a problem in families with small kids. For other breeds, HHBCR will similarly ensure that guidelines are followed suitable for that breed. While each dog has its very own unique personality, one must seriously research the breed before deciding to bring one into their home. For this reason, Hull's Haven will have many questions for any prospective adopter, and reserves the right to refuse anyone deemed unsuitable. HHBCR's adoption fee ($400 for puppies $400 for small breeds, $350 for most medium/large breeds, and $250for se
