Cowgirl's Story

Meet Cowgirl! This pretty pup is estimated 1-2 years old. She has an adorable speckled nose and a is incredibly sweet.
She is bursting with energy and ready to find her forever home!

Cowgirl has already had quite the journey. After her previous owner went to jail, her and her brother were saved by a local rescue partner and MPP stepped in and agreed to help find their ticket out of Texas! 🏠

Cowgirl is the life of the party! She absolutely loves running, playing, and getting into some roughhousing with her doggy pals during group play. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she can sometimes get a bit too excited during playtime, so she needs a friendly and social dog friend sibling who can help her learn the ropes.

Cowgirl is extremely motivated and trainable. She is currently working on her jumping and leash skills. She would benefit greatly from some general training. Since she is still learning, right now we would reccomend a home without young children or elderly individuals, as she may unintentionally knock them over with her exuberance.

Once Cowgirl settles into a loving home, we believe she'll level out and become the perfect companion. However, it’s crucial for her to find a forever family soon so she doesn’t become stressed or develop any bad habits. She is currently in a shelter style foster, and we would like to get her into a home setting ASAP!

If you're looking for a fun, active, and loving dog to brighten your days, Cowgirl is your girl!
