Cowboy's Story
Age: 10-12months (approx)
Gender: Male
Breed: Mixed Breed
About Cowboy:
Cowboy came into care after being picked up as a stray - underweight and showing signs of trauma, including broken blood vessels around his eyes consistent with possible asphyxiation. Thankfully, those injuries have now fully cleared and despite whatever he endured before rescue - Cowboy has remained incredibly sweet and trusting with people making him an easy guy to have around!
This young guy absolutely melts for human attention and is looking for the fresh start he deserves. He’s still learning how to “dog” (leash walking, play, and social skills are all fairly new to him) but he’s eager, affectionate, and trying his best every day.
Cowboy can be selective with other dogs and will need continued guidance and positive experiences as he builds confidence.
He would make an amazing companion for someone looking for a loyal little shadow who just wants to be close to his people.
Adoption Fee: $475
Includes microchip, spay/neuter, vaccines, and deworming.
Please note: We adopt to force-free homes only. Cowboy’s future family must be committed to continuing positive, force-free training methods.
