Cowboy's Story

Hi! I’m Cowboy. I am believed to be about a year old, weighing in at 24lbs. I was found running as a stray so we don’t really know what breeds I am. Foster mommy guesses I might have some Jack Russell Terrier in there.

I am timid at first when meeting new people. But give me a day or two and I will be your best friend. I just wasn’t socialized properly when I was a baby, but I’m learning my manners now! I love other dogs. Running, wrestling, and just being near them is when I am my most confident. So I need another doggie in my new home. I’m great with cats too! I can live with kids 8+, that understand dogs. I absolutely love my humans, so having little humans would be amazing.

I am potty trained and crate trained. I do need more leash training but I’m so smart I learn quickly!! I ride well in the car too. I’m always up for an adventure. Foster mommy takes me places so I can get used to being out and about with others. I’m getting really good at it!

Cowboy is neutered, microchipped, been dewormed, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative. If he sounds like a match for you, please fill out an adoption application using the URL below:

Bit.ly/WHASadoptionapplication

Cowboy’s adoption fee is $400.

***Please note, Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary is a foster based rescue.
