He is a medium sized (51 lbs), tri-colored, herding mix boy. <br/><br/>Being transferred in from an animal control facility since they were out of space, we do not know about his background; however, we have learned that he is an awesome pup, as he quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite. <br/><br/>Harvey is a sweet soul who is over the initial young herding dog phase, but still enjoys his adventuresome doggy field trips with shelter volunteers. Harvey is also very smart and enjoys learning new things. Right now his best trick is sitting handsomely with the cutest perk in ears, but he hopes you'll teach him some more fun tricks. He’s a great learner and very eager to please you!<br/><br/>His favorite things are: walks, playtime, belly rubs and YOU! He is a people over pup sort of guy and will happily sit right by your side; however, he is still an independent pup who isn’t too into cuddling.<br/><br/>When Harvey dreams about his perfect family he hopes for a solo pet household where he can enjoy the luxuries of life: adventures by day and doggy naps by night. He is searching for future family members who are adults or patient children who understand his independence. <br/><br/>Harvey is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, fecal negative, and heartworm negative. All Harvey needs is his furever home.
