Remy is a very sweet dog that loves to be loved. He’s a cuddler and wants to be near his person. He’s very smart and learns very quickly. He knows commands for sit, shake, down and roll over. His favorite thing is to play fetch … a ball thrower is excellent because he can run really fast and really far. He can also jump really high and will jump up for a ball that’s over 5 feet in the air. He has energy so an active home would be best. He hikes and swims with his current foster mom.<br/><br/>He is nervous in new environments and with new people so he will take some time to warm up but once he does, he will love deeply. He’s very afraid of loud noises he hides in the bathroom or in his kennel when he hears a delivery at the door. He is very selective with other dogs and will lunge or try to bite so it’s best he is an only dog & no young children. It is believed that he may have been neglected or yelled at by a man so when introducing him to a male, give him time to learn to trust. He is kennel trained … his kennel is his safe place. He goes into the kennel whenever left home alone to avoid scratching at the door if he hears loud noises.
