He is a sweet boy and a big baby. Here are some things that Bagel is looking for ...<br/><br/> Fenced yard. This boy loves running in the fenced yard with his soccer ball and fetching the tennis balls. He needs an adopter that will provide this for him.<br/><br/> Children 8+ or a home without children is fine too. He has been very gentle with young children but because he is not around them regularly, young children make him visibly nervous especially running up to him.<br/><br/> 0-1 dog - must have a meet and greet prior with another medium or large dog. Bagel is dog selective and would prefer a slow introduction.<br/><br/> Really great with cats.<br/><br/> Someone that will enjoy his comedy (you couldn't necessarily call him silly because he is EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT, but he seems to do things to make you laugh possibly to make you happy?) <br/><br/> A little work on socializing. He needs someone who will be understanding of this from the beginning. In a home of his own that has time to spend one on one, he will do great! He has been on a couple recent outings and he has done very well. He is very well-behaved in the car.<br/><br/> Someone who wants a perfectly potty trained pupper.<br/><br/> Someone who will watch TV with him<br/><br/> Adopter must be 21+<br/><br/>Overall, Bagel is affectionate and happy, friendly, loving, loves to play fetch, and will make a great companion!<br/><br/>Bagel has been seen by Bryant Drive Animal Hospital. He is microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventatives, and up-to-date on vaccinations.<br/><br/>A home and/or vet check and rehoming fee will be required to adopt Bagel, as well as a meet and greet if there are other dogs in the home.<br/><br/>Please note the Humane Society of West Alabama is not liable for the behavior of courtesy listing dogs.
