Courage's Story

Courage is the embodiment of her name! Shes an explorer and adventurer; she will test her boundaries and try to explore her surroundings...so keep an eye on her. Once she is used to her new home (less than a week typically) shes very outgoing. Courage has a super silly and sweet personality. Likes to cuddle with her head in your lap. LOVES furry friends both cats and dogs. Plays nicely with other dogs. Loves to bike and hike. Definitely an adventurer but also can hang out and relax at home. She sleeps through the night in her crate and separation anxiety is almost nonexistent except for a few scratches once in a while but few and far between. She happily goes in her crate to rest after exercising and loves a long nap. Shes a super quick learner with a gentle temperament and loves hanging out with her foster brother and sisters.<br/>She will be a faithful, loving addition to any family, she just needs love and patience to make her feel at home and comfortable, routine is important for this beautiful girl. Courage has not been tested with children. Please note, all Arctic Rescue dogs are marked yes to Needs Experienced Adopter. This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.
