Coulson / Patty's Story

General Notes | Meet Patty, whose foster family affectionately calls her Sadie. She is a sweet, gentle girl who has been absolutely thriving in a home environment and is completely ready to transition into a permanent forever family. Whether she is answering to Patty or Sadie, this clever pup is guaranteed to bring a massive dose of love, loyalty, and happy tail wags to her lucky future home She is playful and friendly with people and kids, but also loves to calm down and cuddle for naps.Smart and sweet disposition- responds well to training. Gets along great with our 2 dogs. She has also been calm and great with car rides.
If you are interested, Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP, and an Adoption Coordinator will be in touch within a few days. Our standard application processing timeline is 12 - 14 days.

Personality | Sweet and playful, but also calm when needed

Story | This litter was surrendered in Alabama and came from an oops litter in the community. We were told these babies are doodle mixes by the rescue that sent them our way. Breed isn't guaranteed and they likely are a mix of multiple different breeds! They also aren't expected to have the doodle "low-shedding" fur based on how they look at present!

Other Dogs | Great with other dogs!

Cats | Young enough to do well with kitties with proper intros!

Children | Wonderful with my 2 young kids

Training | In progress.

Leash | ! Started basic leash walking in back yard. Our rescue follows “No Paws on the Ground" (NPOG) as a safety protocol for young puppies, primarily used by veterinarians, shelters, and rescues. It means that an unvaccinated or partially vaccinated puppy should never be allowed to put their feet on the ground in any public or communal area where other dogs or animals may have been. These babies love to play in secure yards, and be snuggled and held on family walks.

Activity Level | Moderate. Labs are a smart, active breed. She loves to play- but also loves to chill with people and my 2 dogs

Health Notes | Healthy and happy :)

Thank you!

Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $575 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year old, $525 for 1 - 6 years old, $475 for dogs 7 - 10 years old, and $350 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $625. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, transportation to Colorado, and supplies while in foster care (that currently average over $750 per dog).

Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet and greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. We will not respond to emails about animal availability or allow meet and greets without an approved adoption application on file.

Please Note | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.

We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!
