Meet Cotton! <br/><br/>Cotton is a 4-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix with the sweetest soul and the biggest heart. Whether you're working from home, relaxing on the couch, or heading to bed for the night, Cotton is happiest curled up beside her favorite person.<br/><br/>Thanks to the Puppies for Parole program, Cotton has been working hard on building her confidence and learning new skills! She will graduate on July 24, and she'll be ready to start the next chapter of her life with a loving family.<br/><br/>Cotton is incredibly loyal and forms strong bonds with her people. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially if they're loud or approach her too quickly, but with a little patience, her affectionate and loving personality shines through.<br/><br/>She's making fantastic progress every day! Cotton is now officially going potty outside and continues to improve with her house training. She's also learned several commands, including "No," "Leave It," "Off," and "Yes," and she's currently mastering the "Down" command. She's a smart girl who enjoys learning and responds well to positive reinforcement.<br/><br/>Cotton does well being left out when you're away and doesn't require a kennel. She also needs to lose a little weight and is currently on a healthy diet, but she still has plenty of playful energy and enjoys having fun.<br/><br/>One of Cotton's favorite things is other small dogs! She absolutely loves them and would thrive in a home with a small canine companion. That said, she'd also be perfectly content soaking up all of the love as your one-and-only.<br/><br/>We're also continuing to work on her confidence with leash and collar handling, as well as helping her become more comfortable around loud noises.
