Rescued from a severe hoarding situation alongside roughly 100 other dogs, and though he carries the weight of that experience, but his story is far from over.<br/><br/>Cosmo is fearful reactive and takes time to warm up to new people and environments. He will not immediately accept affection, and pushing his boundaries can cause him to shut down or defend himself. He needs an adopter who understands this and is willing to let him set the pace.<br/><br/>He is best suited for a calm, quiet household with no young children, and an experienced adopter who knows how to read canine body language and respect a shy dog's space.
