Meet Cosmo!<br/><br/>Cosmo is a 4–5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a big heart, a happy spirit, and energy for days. He’s everything people love about the breed, athletic, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure with his favorite humans.<br/><br/>Cosmo truly loves people. He’s friendly, sweet, and enjoys spending time with adults, kids, and other dogs. He’s the kind of pup who wants to be part of whatever you’re doing, whether that’s heading out for a walk, tossing a ball, or just hanging out together. <br/><br/>We don’t know much about Cosmo’s past, but what we do know is that he’s eager to learn and wants to please. While he hasn’t had a ton of formal training yet, he’s already making great progress in foster care and picking things up quickly with consistency and positive guidance.<br/><br/>Cosmo will do best in a home that understands and embraces the GSP lifestyle, including:<br/><br/>Experience with active breeds or a willingness to learn<br/>Daily exercise and mental enrichment<br/>Ongoing work on leash skills and basic manners<br/><br/>Because Cosmo is energetic and vocal, apartment living isn’t the right fit for him. He’s happiest when he has room to move and a job to do, whether that’s running, hiking, training, playing, or exploring alongside his people.<br/><br/>Cosmo comes with some great basics already in place:<br/><br/>Neutered<br/>Heartworm negative<br/>Up to date on vaccines<br/>Crate trained<br/>House trained<br/>Dog and kid friendly<br/>Would do best in a home with no cats<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, athletic companion who will keep you moving and fill your days with love and adventure, Cosmo may be the perfect addition to your family.
