Cosmo is a happy-go-lucky hound mix who is playful, sweet, and cuddly. He just had his first birthday on April 16th, and likes to chew, so it’s good to have chew toys readilyavailable. He LOVES his Kong, and will focus on it for hours when it’s filled with peanut butter!<br/><br/>Cosmo loves to be around you, and can spend time just snoozing in the same room. He lovesto play, whether chasing a ball, or chasing you! After exercising, he can keep himself busy withhis toys if you have things you need to be doing, or you just want to relax with a show or a book.<br/><br/>Cosmo gets along well with children and animals, and views them all as potential bestfriends, but is very boisterous, so he needs a firm hand.<br/><br/>Cosmo is a medium sized dog, weighing in at around 70 lbs. This big boy has an incredible sense of smell, being a Catahoula hound mix, and therefore is easily distracted onwalks. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way towards making your outingsenjoyable.Cosmo is crate trained and potty trained. He also knows some basic commands suchas “Off” “Heel” “Sit” “Come” and “Down”.<br/><br/>He has some anxiety about being left alone, andtherefore should be crated at night, or if there is no one around to supervise him. Items leftwithin reach or on the floor are fair game to Cosmo, so be sure to put anything you don’t wantchewed on in its proper place.
