Corra+'s Story
Hi there! My name is Corra.
If you couldn't tell from my soft eyes, I'm a sweet, gentle little gal looking for my forever home. And yes... I really am as pocket-sized as I look. I'm basically the perfect travel-sized best friend.
Don't let "gentle" fool you, though...I may be little, but I've got a pretty big story.
When I first came into rescue, I was terrified of just about everything. New people? Scary. New places? Also scary. Basically, the whole world felt a little too big for a tiny girl like me. But guess what? I've been proving to everyone (including myself) that I'm braver than I ever knew.
My foster family says they've watched my confidence grow more and more every day. I'm doing amazing meeting new people, exploring new things, and learning that life can actually be pretty fun.
Speaking of fun... if you have another dog who's looking for a best friend, I volunteer! I absolutely LOVE other dogs and am always ready to play. Whether we're zooming around the yard or just hanging out together, having a canine buddy makes me so happy.
I'm also kind of an overachiever. I'm crate trained, potty trained, and already know a bunch of my basic obedience. I love learning, I love making my people proud, and I'm always happy to earn a "good girl (and maybe a treat or two;) )
More than anything, I'm looking for someone who will keep cheering me on as I continue to blossom. I'll probably need a little time to settle in, but once I know I'm safe, you'll have a loyal little shadow who will make you smile every single day.
So... what do you think? Room for one tiny best friend with a big heart?
Love,
Corra.

Adoption fee is $360
Email: dogs@almosthomefoundation.org

Almost Home Foundation's adoption requirements:
(1) Be at least 21 years of age;
(2) Have the consent of all adults living in the household;
(3) Have approval from the residence owner;
(4) Have valid ID with current address;
(5) Be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home; and
(6) Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only)
*** Please note that Almost Home Foundation accepts only cash, Zelle, or checks for adoption fees; we do not accept debit or credit cards. ***
