Hi. Meet 15 year old CORNBREAD! He was dumped on the side of the road and taken to the local shelter where we rescued him in Dec 2022. This old guy was in pretty rough shape when he first came to us, but he's been thriving at our kennel is looking for a place to call home. Cornbread is sight-impaired, but he is still alert, VERY affectionate, and likes the company of other mellow female dogs. He enjoys car rides, trips to the pet store and loves getting pets from people. If you have a home with a comfy bed and a yard where he can lounge around and enjoy the fresh air, please fill out our application on our website downtowndogrescue.org/adoption-questionnaire to set up a meeting. Downtown Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Please submit an application online on our website. Once reviewed and approved we will arrange a meeting. If both parties feel its a good match, we set up a virtual or in-person home visit, complete the adoption contract and donation ($250), and arrange a time to deliver your new companion. Please note: Our dogs are available for adoption in the greater Los Angeles area. We do not adopt out of state.
