Cornbread's Story

Sweet, playful, and easy to like

Cornbread is a friendly young dog with a nice mix of playfulness and good sense. He's easy to get out of the kennel, appears house-trained, and has a moderate energy level that feels very livable. He enjoys playtime, loves a ball, and has already shown he can play well with other dogs without being too much.

In the yard, Cornbread matched nicely with another playful dog, enjoying chase-and-run style play and only pushing the interaction when the other dog wanted to keep going. Around people, he's been described as very sweet and has also done well in a meet-and-greet with kids.

He does pull some on leash, but he responds well to correction and redirection. He's still a young dog, so there's room to keep polishing manners, but the basics seem solid. Overall, Cornbread comes across as a fun, social dog who should fit nicely into a home that wants a dog ready for both playtime and everyday life. Come meet Cornbread. We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday (1PM - 5PM)! No Appointments required!
