Corn Flakes (26-086 D)'s Story

Corn Flakes is a cutie pie that came to our rescue from a hoarding situation. He is about 24 lbs and while we do not know his exact breed, we suspect Dachshund is included somewhere in his mix. He is estimated at 2-3 years old and loves other dogs. He can be shy to start with new humans, but he quickly bonded to his foster mom and follows her everywhere now. He really loves other dogs and while a dog wouldn't be required in his future home, it would help him bond faster to his future family.

Corn Flakes came from some pretty deporable conditions and is still learning that bathroom time happens outside. He has made a lot of progress, but still needs lots of reminders & reinforcement. He has also likely never been crated and is still learing to love his kennel. He does sleep through the night after some initial passionate pleas for freedom, but we believe with time he will continue to improve.

Corn Flakes can be spooked by people grabbing him too quickly so we would recommend kiddos 10+ for him.
