Corey's Story
Hi. I'm Corey. Nearly 9 years old, almost two years in rescue, and I think it's about time I retire to a life of luxury.

I came here from Apple Valley about 675 days ago, and in that time, I've built a reputation: cuddliest senior? Absolutely. Sassiest senior? Also yes. I love attention, I love a good brushing -but only when I say so. If it's mealtime or I'm ready for a nap, I'm not shy about letting you know it.

I'd prefer my own food bowl (sharing is overrated) and a cozy corner where I can escape the chaos when I feel like it. I do enjoy playtime-hard and fast-but only in short bursts before I'm ready for snacks or a solid snooze.

I'll happily sit and shake your hand very politely for treats (I take bribes). In fact, I'll do just about anything for food.

Bottom line: Give me a couch, a steady supply of snacks, and a human who gets that sometimes I just need my space... and I'll give you all the love, loyalty, and charm a senior husky can muster.
