Corbin Bleu's Story

Meet Corbin Blue

This beautiful three-year-old husky has been with us since July of 2024, quietly waiting for someone patient enough to see the heart behind his story.

Before coming to us, Corbin Blue spent his entire life tied up outside in a trailer park. No soft bed, no real love, no family to call his own. It’s no wonder that trust doesn’t come easily for him — it takes time, understanding, and kindness to show him the world isn’t such a scary place.

Corbin Blue does have some food guarding tendencies, which, given his past, is more than understandable. But with structure and compassion, it’s very manageable. What shines through the most is his true spirit — he’s wonderful on a leash, incredibly affectionate once he feels safe, and at his core, a gentle, loving soul who just wants to belong.

Corbin Blue would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and finally know what it feels like to be truly cherished.

He has already been let down once in life. He deserves a home where he’ll never feel abandoned or unwanted again.

Could you be the one to give him the love and patience he’s been waiting for?

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs. Please submit an application at www.NAWSUS.org under the Pet Adoption tab to setup a day or time to meet with one of our adoption counselors and our potential adoptees. Thank you!
