Cora Frey's Story

Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix | Female | 3 years | 48 lbs | Adoption Fee $500

Requirements: Fenced-in-Yard | Single Family Home (No Apartments, Condos or Townhomes)

Meet Cora Frey, a friendly and happy-go-lucky girl who is very playful and loves the outdoors. Every chance she gets to go outside, she's there. For this reason a home with a fenced in yard would be perfect for her.

Cora Frey loves her toys, other playful pups and kitties too. She is doing very well with going potty outside and will even signal when she’s ready by going to the door.

While her foster family is not home, she is very comfortable in her crate which she keeps neat and tidy. All you have to say is ""kennel Cora"". She is let out midday for a potty break and some fresh air. She’s hoping her future family will have someone home or can schedule a break for her during the day as well.

Cora Frey takes treats in a very gentle manner and loves her chew toys to keep her busy. Even though she is active, she does not jump on her people. You don't have to look far for her,as she will most likely be right behind you.

She is cautious of car rides and needs a boost to get in and positive reinforcements for an enjoyable experience.

Evenings she will finish up the day with her favorite chew toy and find a warm lap...yes lap. At bedtime she is comfortable in her crate with her people very close by.
Want to hear more about this special girl? Woof Gang Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our top priority here at WGR is to find the best possible home for each dog. We screen potential adopters in a variety of ways to ensure that every dog goes to a home that is safe, loving, and lasting. During the adoption process, you will work closely with your dog's foster parent(s), who know your dog most intimately and can determine if your home is the best fit for your dog. We will take an application, run a background check, and ensure all of your information is accurate. We schedule a meet & greet for your family to interact with your dog prior to adopt and we may also perform a scheduled home visit as well. All adopters sign a contract that outlines and promises proper treatment and care for your pet. The process may seem strict but it is that way on purpose. Most of the dogs we rescue come from shelters and/or abusive pasts. We are 100% dedicated to finding them a home where they can be happy, healthy, strong, loved, and cared for every day for the rest of their lives. ***We adopt to Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota only at this time. Residents of Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota will be required to drive to Wisconsin for a meet and greet and the dog that they apply for MUST already be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption.***
