Cora's Story

Cora came in to the shelter as an owner surrender. Her owner was young and really too busy for normal puppy raising experiences. As this is being typed, Cora is nestled sweetly in my lap. She is a sweetheart 6 month old "Chug". Her owner said she was having trouble with her house training, but in her foster home there has been no problem. She is still a "juvenile" though so you need to be consistent in taking her out and waiting for her to "go." She sleeps on the bed with you and follows you loyally wherever you go. She has been around dogs of all sizes, kids, and although she can be shy for just an instant, she warms up very quickly. She's treat motivated and is already learning how to sit and walk nicely on her leash. We don't think Cora will enjoy bring left home alone for hours on end, as she loves her humans and really enjoys their company without being too needy. She loves stuffy toys and shakes them with all her little might. She rides quietly in the car and we'd say her only slightly bad habit is that she can be growly with other dogs when food is around, but its very mild. Simple fix is don't put her bowl right next to the other dog and feed treats separately. She's a keeper, this little love bug. Please come meet her.

Adoption fee varies and includes spay/neuter, first vaccinations, deworming, complimentary veterinary examination, microchip, collar and ID tag.
