Meet copper Nacho, an almost one-year-old Australian Shepherd with the biggest heart and the goofiest grin.<br/><br/>Copper Nacho is equal parts velcro, smart, silly, and certified cuddle bug. This boy does not just like his people, he wants to be with his people. He will happily curl up in your lap, lean into you on the couch, and follow you from room to room just to stay close. If you’re heading somewhere, he assumes he’s invited.<br/><br/>He is deaf and has limited vision in one eye, but that does not slow him down one bit. He sees well out of his other eye and navigates his world with confidence. He watches his people closely, learns routines quickly, and responds beautifully to visual cues. His connection to his humans is strong, and that bond is truly special.<br/><br/>Copper Nacho loves all people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He enjoys having a canine companion, especially since he does best when he’s not alone. He walks nicely on leash around both people and dogs, rides calmly in the car, and loves toys. He is always ready for an outing, but just as happy to settle in for snuggles afterward.<br/><br/>He does experience some separation anxiety when kenneled. However, he does very well when left out with another dog for companionship, as long as food is kept safely out of reach, yes, even off the counters. He is a smart Aussie and will absolutely investigate if snacks are available.<br/><br/>Copper Nacho would thrive in a home that wants a true companion. A dog who goes with you, lounges with you, and loves you wholeheartedly.
