Copper's Story

Notes from the ASPCA: Copper is a highly intelligent and motivated young guy who already knows sit, down, station, and hand targeting!
Extremely social and people-oriented. Thrives on interaction and would do great in an active household, with training activities, and even dog sports!
Enjoys rough/rowdy play and would do best playing with playful, tolerant dogs who enjoy active engagement. During one playgroup, he was grabbed by another dog in a high stress interaction and demonstrated stable temperament and appropriate recovery.
Thrives on physical exercise and mental stimulation. Shows a strong engagement in training sessions!
Usually at front of kennel watching everything around him. Leashes easily and enjoys walks where he can explore his environment. May pull mildly on leash and would benefit from continued leash training.
Very occasionally has jumped up and mouthed handlers to solicit attention. This is easily interrupted with a verbal cue and is consistent with his age and excitement level. Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 38.28lbs Age: 0yrs 10mths 3wks Animal has been Neutered
