Copper Boom's Story

Copper Boom came to us through an overcrowding situation at Williamson County Regional Shelter. He was roughly 3 months old at the time. He is now almost two years old.

He’s is one of the softest dogs here and loves his cuddles! He sleeps in bed with his people if he’s allowed and is learning to only use the potty outdoors but occasionally has an accident. He’s happy to run around and play as well as sit happily alone and chew on his bones and toys.

Copper Boom is a barker and will alert you to any sign of trouble on the double! He is nervous about new people and new things but quickly warms up. He enjoys playing with other dogs and has situated himself as an alpha dog in the little pack he interacts with.

We believe he would be a treasured family member to whomever adopts him. He’s pretty special- as evidenced by his secret fawn markings under his white coat- if you look closely or when he’s wet, you can see that Copper Boom
Is really just a baby deer!

We named him after a particular phrase used often in a Gilmore Girls episode. If you know, you know ;)

All Country House Dogs are raised in a home environment with humans and other dogs. They are 100% vetted, behavior wise. Some rescues HAVE to keep animals in kennels and cages. We do not.
