We recommend training for all dogs — not only to give Copper important learning skills, but because you and your dog will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together.<br/><br/>Copper is fully vetted. He will be neutered, has received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $1,200.00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Copper wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse!<br/><br/>IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you.<br/><br/>We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. We are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We try to get back to all qualified applicants within 72 hours.
