Copper - AD 11/07

ADOPTED 11.07!!!! Copper is a 2 year old Golden whose owners loved him but were not able to give him what he needs. <br/>This boy needs exercise and lots of it! This boy is very excitable! He needs lots of exercise. In his foster home he takes two walks per day (1st one 1 hr; 2nd 25-30 min) and plays in a fenced yard with balls. He craves balls so much that his foster mom also throws some for him inside too! He is working on house training but is almost there. He is good in a crate. His fosters crate him at night. On leash Copper needs a little work. He tugs like madman on leash. :)His foster mom is working with the Halti and he is doing excellent!! In the car Copper rides nicely. He is good with other dogs - gets along well with his foster siblings. He is getting an education in "cats"! He currently chases and growls. We are working on this. Copper is a very affectionate and loving dog. He loves people and really wants to please. Gorgeous face! (His coat will be better after being on a premium food for awhile) He is very athletic! The perfect home for Copper will be an active family who is patient enough to allow him the time he needs to settle down.
