He is about 20 pounds and stands a little taller.

He is a mixed breed dog, originally from a South Dakota reservation. Thought to be maybe jack russell and maybe some german shepherd - he's a mix of many breeds. He is good with other dogs - she loves to play chase, and run around the yard. He is good with people but can be a little shyer in new situations. He is working on house training and crate training and doing pretty well with consistency.

He is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and started on monthly preventatives. .

Adoption fee is $550+ tax (no checks)

Email to contact: adopt@newleashrescue.org

Please inquire if this pup will be attending any of our upcoming Saturday adoption events from 11-2pm at the Burnsville, Cottage Grove, or Maplewood PetSmart locations.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
