Copper 's Story
Meet Copper. She is a young female foxhound about a year old who came to us as a stray with no id, microchip or owner response. She is currently living with a group of dogs and loving life. She is learning her leash manners .. she is a strong dog, a bit stubborn and needs training around strange dogs she doesn't know. She does need an experienced dog owner, preferably with the hunting breeds. She would be fine as an only dog if she had sufficient exercise and attention but does love to play with other dogs she knows. She would not be the best choice for a new dog owner or around small children. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to go home as soon as the right family applies for her. Perhaps your family will be the lucky one.

If you are interested in meeting Cooper, please email us at dalrescue@sbcglobal.net, indicate your interest in Copper and request an application, You should also be able to access the application on line from our website homepage, www.dalarescuesocal.com. Once we get the completed application back and if it looks like Copper might be a good fit for you and your family and other dog, arrangements can be quickly made for a "Meet and greet" to see how everyone gets along. Copper would love to have a new home and a family to love so please do ask to meet her if you are interested.

To learn more about Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit charity, and to see all of our available dogs, please visit our website at www.dalrescuesocal.com.
