Cootie Doo's Story

Cootie Doo, a 40-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix, has had a rough start in her short life. After she was rescued from a home with too many dogs, she was moved to suburban living, then city life. She adapted well to each new environment, with it's own set of rules and lessons.

Cootie can still be uncertain about some new things but the three caring homes have shown her ability to adjust and trust people.

Her stand-out qualities are that she enjoys the company of other dogs and cats, is housebroken, thinks ear scratches are the best thing ever (next to yogurt), does not bark or dig, and is loyal and calm.

She still needs confidence building and would benefit from a quieter environment, a secure fence and other dog/cat buddies.

A predictable routine with established procedures will help her thrive. She is smart and loyal and she is now ready for the last leg of her amazing journey in her furever home.

Please contact foster mom at 206 890-2226 or you can apply for adoption at https://www.blackhathumanesociety.org/apply-now/.
