Hello from Texas! I am a handsome 2-year-old, 18 lb Beagle mix named Cooper, and I am looking for a forever home. I was found in the Rio Grande Valley, taken in by a man who helps all the stray dogs in his little city of San Juan, then reaches out to rescues for help. In my case, it was 4 Little Paws who took me in and brought me to a foster home in San Antonio. I am now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find a wonderful future somewhere in the Eastern states.<br/><br/>I am a very sweet boy, shy when I first meet people, but once I trust you, I’m happy, and waggly, and I’m always friendly and playful with other dogs. I don't think I’ve ever had dog toys before, but I am starting to understand how fun they are! I love playtime, treats of every variety, and although I’m not the kissy type, I enjoy pets and snuggling beside you while we relax at the end of the day. I am well-behaved in a home, housebroken, and only bark when I need to alert you to something. I was unfamiliar with leash walking, but I’m practicing and doing well with a bit of encouragement. I’m a very good boy, sweet and happy, and ready to share my heart with a family who loves me.
