COOPER's Story
Introducing Cooper:

Age: 8 months DOB: 3rd Sept 2025
Weight: 6 lbs
Location: Toronto Ontario
Adoption donation: $850

Cooper is an 8-month-old Chihuahua puppy with a loving, happy temperament and had a caring start in life. He has very few bad habits and truly enjoys everyone he meets. Whether he’s being cuddled, showered with kisses, or chasing a ping pong ball, Cooper is always happiest close to his people.
He loves children, though a home with older, respectful kids would be best, as he does not enjoy being pulled or handled roughly. Cooper is well trained to use pee pads indoors and is making wonderful progress with outdoor training thanks to his foster family. He especially enjoys his long walks and proudly joins in on school pick-up adventures.
Cooper is extremely affectionate and devoted to his main caregiver. He will happily follow you from room to room and would spend all day curled up in your lap if he could. He has likely never been left alone before, he currently experiences significant separation anxiety and can become quite vocal when left by himself. His foster parents are already seeing improvement, however, and recently found him calmly sleeping while home alone, showing he is a smart and eager learner.
Due to his vocal separation anxiety and tiny puppy bladder, Cooper would do best in a home with a backyard and a house rather than an apartment setting. He will thrive with a patient family, committed to continuing his training, and excited to give plenty of love, attention, cuddles, and companionship.
Cooper is great with other dogs and with continued socialization he will do great at the dog park. He seems fine with the cats he sees walking by. He is truly a special, little dog ready to become someone’s constant companion and best friend.
