FOSTER or ADOPTER needed ASAP!!! URGENT! Cooper was saved from a Hi-Kill shelter down South. Cooper is a great companion, behaves well in the home - 7yo, healthy, all shots & preventatives UTD - neutered, approx 60lbs. - a loving companion, good with friendly same-size dogs, Life is very stressful for Cooper with no large fenced secure yard. He tries his best - but he’s really unhappy stuck indoors most of the time with no access to a fenced yard. Currently he is in PA but will likely be back in NJ pretty soon. He is now in PA but should be back in NJ shortly. He needs a very patient understanding person who preferably works from home. Cooper enjoys lounging in the sun, taking naps and is a happy boy. Cooper's adopt donation is $200. Cooper is very food and treat motivated. His favorite activity is long walks where he sniffs everything, like Hounds do. He is extremely sweet and easygoing and loves butt scratches. Cooper is a great dog. Well-behaved in the home and sociable. He is not fond of being crated, typically prefers free-run in the home. A video chat can be arranged for a serious foster-to-adopt, adopt offer with an in-person ‘Meet’ required. Cooper would be great for a single person, couple or family that has experience with a rescue dog. A mature person or couple would be best. Cooper would do great in a home with a large secure fenced yard. We'd love to place him with a person/couple who can appreciate his loving nature and playful Hound character. Potential adopters and foster-to-adopt persons will be contacted ASAP - we will respond to texts, direct phone calls & email inquiries. We do background checks and require personal references and Vet references as part of the adoption process. As part of the adopt/foster process a home check will be required as well as a photo ID. Preliminary jpgs of the home, other pets and/or children living in the home and the space the dog will be cared for in may also be requested prior to the home-check. We are primarily focused on dog placement in the New Jersey and New York areas. Whenever possible we will arrange for mutually agreeable meets and transport if required.
