Cooper Catahoula Leopard Dog & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Georgetown, TX

Cooper is about 3-4 years old, a little under 50 pounds, and very friendly and well-behaved. He is with another dog in his foster home and has shown himself to be friendly and polite with the other dog. He will engage in a bit of play and is willing to let his toys get taken. He knows commands like sit and down. He sits at the door and waits to get leashed up. He’s potty trained. He loves the ball. He’s affectionate, soft, beautiful temperament, sneaks his head onto your chest for a cuddle and then rolls on his back with a tail wag. It really can’t get any better than Cooper. He is playful but content to be on his own. He will comfortably go into a kennel, but there is no need for that as he is not destructive. He likes his walkies to be a bit fast paced as he’s excited to sniff all the trees, bushes and posts. In our care he hasn’t had interactions with children or cats, but he doesn’t exhibit high prey drive with neighborhood cats/squirrels and he’s been great with people.

He is a dream dog for a first time dog owner and he’ll make your jaw drop if you’ve had dogs before. Cooper will be your best friend within the day and you’ll feel so lucky.
