Meet Cooper (5-6 years old) Cooper is the sweetest dog. He LOVES people and enjoys cuddling with his people more than anything. He is very demanding when it comes to getting attention, so keep this in mind if you have other dogs, because his happy place is on your lap. Cooper is used to going out for a potty break in a fenced back yard. He is so smart, so we think he will learn to walk on a leash. Cooper is a Maltese. CHILDREN We only adopt dogs to homes with children aged 13 and above. This policy exists to protect children from dog bites or other dog-related injuries. We are sorry that we cannot make any exceptions. ADOPTION AREA Caring Hearts Rescue only serves the inner suburbs of the Washington, DC metro area (please see our FAQ page for a definition of this area).
