CHILDREN We only adopt dogs to homes with children aged 13 and above. This policy exists to protect children from dog bites or other dog-related injuries. We are sorry that we cannot make any exceptions. ADOPTION AREA Caring Hearts Rescue only serves the inner suburbs of the Washington, DC metro area (please see our FAQ page for a definition of this area).
