Adoption Policy
CHILDREN
We only adopt dogs to homes with children aged 13 and above. This policy exists to protect children from dog bites or other dog-related injuries. We are sorry that we cannot make any exceptions.
ADOPTION AREA
Caring Hearts Rescue only serves the inner suburbs of the Washington, DC metro area (please see our FAQ page for a definition of this area). If you are not sure whether you live within our service area, please ask us before completing our application by emailing us at adoptchr@caringheartsrescue.org.
