Cedartown Polk County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
An application is submitted via email or in person and referred to an adoption committee. The application is reviewed and and questions or potential issues are discussed with the applicant. An inspection of the applicant/potential adopter's is conducted as deemed necessary. If committee approved the applicant/potential adopter, an adoption fee is collected and adopter is provided with medical records when pet is transferred to adopter. The records are appropriately completed and the microchip is registered on adopter's behalf.
