Cookie is about 2 years old, 30 pounds, and an absolute sweetheart looking for her person. Once she decides you’re her person, she’s all in. She is a true Velcro dog who wants to be near you and will quickly become your best friend. <br/><br/>Cookie is wonderful in the house. She knows how to settle in and relax, and she doesn’t need to be entertained every minute of the day. She’s also a rockstar in her crate, making her an easy girl to have around. And if there’s food involved, count her in! Cookie LOVES to eat. <br/><br/>When meeting new people, Cookie prefers to approach them on her own terms. She’ll sniff, decide you’re okay, and then happily accept pets. Once you’re approved, you’re officially her friend!<br/><br/>Cookie can be nervous around some young children, so we’re looking for an adult-only home where she can feel comfortable and confident.<br/><br/>She’s also an athletic girl who would enjoy walks, hikes, and exploring with her family, and she may even have fun trying agility or becoming a running buddy. But her athleticism isn’t what defines her.
