She has seen a lot, and food was her comfort.<br/><br/>"Out of love" her previous diet consisted of high-fat beef everyday, bringing her weight to a whopping 89 lbs.<br/><br/>We have put her on a weight management dog food, and she has lost 6 lbs so far! <br/><br/>She is almost 7 yo, has had operations on both hips due to her weight, and will need a dedicated family on her side!<br/><br/>We love Cookie so much, and hope we can find the perfect match to pamper her, like she deserves!!!<br/><br/>She does great with other pups and cats, but doesn't like to be pounced on or pushed around.<br/><br/>Please call 256.800.3325 between 10am-6pm CST, 7 days a week.<br/><br/>To meet this sweet pup, please email TheLongWayHomeRescue@gmail.com.
