COOKIE is reported to have been picked up as a stray in Fresno CA. She was said to be really sweet and played well with other dogs in the ‘dainty play group’. Well, the day came, she became kennel stressed, was there too long, & ended up on the euth. list. So her angels swooped in & grabbed her & brought her to Lucky Dog Rescue @ The Ranch.<br/><br/>*approx. 2-yrs old (est DOB 1/2/2021)<br/>*spayed (2/2023)<br/>*microchipped<br/>*vaccinated including rabies<br/>*approx. 65-lbs of pure cuddles?<br/>*good with other dogs with proper introduction of course (will continue to assess with different sizes & personalities)<br/>*not good with cats (per Humane report & based on her fixating, but we will continue to work & asses her regarding this)<br/>*knows ‘back’ when feeding time & will hold a sit & back until she is released<br/>*recalls well<br/>*loose leash trained (she is great!)<br/>*knows ‘sit’<br/>*knows ‘no’<br/>*working on boundaries & impulse control (she wants to crawl all over you & kiss your face so we are working on getting some boundaries in place, she is doing well so far)<br/>*learning ‘place’ <br/>*knows ‘stay’ & are working on increasing our stay/hold distance<br/>*at this time we are thinking she might be a possible ES/therapy/service dog candidate<br/>*she will start weekly group obedience classes (after her spay stitches are removed)<br/>*pretty good in the car (will work on this)
