Cookie's Story

Meet Cookie, a young black and white blue eyed Siberian Husky, about 3 yrs old rescued from the Riverside Shelter in Coachella Valley with her husky buddy, Lenny. Cookie was a shelter favorite and the shelter staff were so happy when she was rescued. She is now living with a group of dogs and enjoying lot of outside and inside playtime. She is learning her leash manners and how to sit for a treat. She is friendly with people and other dogs, but is a lot of dog and would be best with experienced dog owners, experienced with high energy busy dogs. She does like other dogs, but depending on the environment, might be fine as an only dog. Another dog to play and pal around with would, however, help with her high energy level, always a plus with the active dogs. Cookie is spayed and vaccinated and ready to go home anytime with the right family. She would love a new home and a family to love .. perhaps it will be your's.

If you are interested in meeting Cookie, please email Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc. at dalrescue@sbcglobal.net and request an adoption questionnaire. You should also be able to access the questionnaire on line from the Dalmatian Rescue website, www.dalrescuesocal.com. Once the completed questionnaire is submitted and approved, arrangements can be quickly made for you and your family and other dog(s), if any, to come and meet Cookie and see how everyone gets along. She would no doubt blossom in a home where she got lot of exercise, attention and plenty of love, and would make just about anyone a fantastic companion.

To learn more about Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit, and to see all of our available dogs, please visit our website at www.dalrescuesocal.com.
